Opening Day series

Considering redoing all stadiums with their version of the 'opening day' or the day the parks first actually opened their gates. Is this as appealing for lesser ballparks, less noteworthy then Fenway, Wrigley and Yankee? The historical significance of the actual day the parks opened is very appealing to me, but not sure if this would be an interesting point to others. Any thoughts?
